New aparthotel chain approached us looking for help creating a brand identity. A development which sits somewhere between a hotel and an Airbnb apartment, this seemed like an opportunity to get playful. We created an overarching brand concept which rolled out across logo design, colour palette, photography styles, copy, wayfinding signage and website design. We even begin to help out with creative decisions regarding their operational strategy and positioning.
Our idea was to create not just a hotel, but a neighbourhood. We wanted to encourage guests to interact with one another in the communal areas, leave recommendations on the noticeboard and effectively pass the baton of local knowledge on to the next set of neighbours. The video below helps explain.
